Statement of Faith
We believe there is one, true, holy and immortal God, existing in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God by which we learn the truth to live the spiritual, peaceful and complete life that God desires for us to live.
We believe in Water Baptism as an outward expression of an inward commitment to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
We believe in the power and outward expression of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
We believe the anointed teaching of God’s Word promotes development and transformation in people's lives.
We believe the family is the foundational institution of humanity and marriage between a man and a woman is a covenant designed for life.
We believe that both individual and corporate prayer is preeminent in order to seek God’s will and leading in everything.

Core Beliefs
The following are the core beliefs of Revive Church Charlotte based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
Salvation
Baptism
Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions. God raised him from the dead and now, by grace, offers as a free gift eternal life to all who follow Christ, by faith, as their Lord and Savior. That is why salvation can be found in Christ alone.
We believe in Water Baptism, an immersion in water, in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It serves as an outward expression of an inward commitment to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. A symbol to proclaim our faith in the crucified, buried and risen Savior, as well as the effect of that faith: our death to sin and resurrection to new life.
The Bible
Prayer
We believe the Holy Bible is the Foundation on which we stand. The Scriptures are inspired words breathed by God through man to teach, lead, correct, train and bring life to God’s people (2 Tim 3:16). God’s Word is the standard and shall stand forever.
We believe Prayer is a powerful tool that enables believers to communicate directly with God. Prayer is two-fold; God hears us when we pray; God speaks to us by His Spirit and we listen. A lifestyle of Prayer is critical for the spiritual growth and maturity intended for all believers.
Commitment
Christ-like Character
We are fully committed to the process of spiritual growth & development by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We believe the character of Christ should be evident and daily lived out through the following traits: love, humility, faithfulness, patience, grace, forgiveness, kindness, peace, diligence and self-control.
Unity
Service
We are intentional in building a strong team of believers who will function together in unity to accomplish God’s purposes. We stand firmly division and promote unity in the faith.
We believe in the model of service Christ demonstrated through his lifestyle of love and self-less actions. Just as Christ came to serve, we strive to do the same.
